PUNTA ARABÍ HIPPY MARKET
The Punta Arabí hippy market began in the 70s, and ever since has been a feature of summer Wednesdays on the island. With more than 400 stalls, you can find silver and leather handicrafts, clothes, jewellery, gifts, African art… you can spend an entire day meadering down the lanes buying gifts for the family or yourself.
There are also several bars, snack bars, a restaurant, a grill and a pizzeria.
Between 14:30 and 18:00 you can enjoy live music in the main tent, as well as other surprise events. A crèche is open from 10:00 to17:00 in apartment 36.

LAS DALIAS HIPPY MARKET
The popular hippy market of Las Dalias takes place every Saturday, although it is at its finest between 1 May and 31 October. A raft of stalls offering all sorts of exotic goods are on offer to the visitor. Clothes, gifts, sandals, exotic musical instruments, CDs of ethnic music, jewellery, exotic fabrics, statues, Indian antiques, sarongs etc. should provide an ample selection for the needs of any visitor looking for that special something.
How to get there
Taxis – There is a taxi rank by the market
Bus – There is a connection from Santa Eulària to Sant Carles, but only a few buses throughout the day, often full.
Tour operators or hotels offer trips to the market.
Private car – this is the most popular option, and there are three massive car parks for visitors. The two car parks at the bottom of the road are pay parking, while there is a huge car park behind Las Dalias which is completely free.
In Sant Carles, although the banks are closed on Saturdays, there are several cash points, as well as in Santa Eulària.
