ON 27 JANUARY 2006, the Santa Eulària des Riu Nautical Station joined the National Network of Nautical Stations.
SANTA EULÀRIA NAUTICAL STATION
Santa Eulària des Riu, is to be found on the eastern seaboard of the island of Ibiza, in the Balearic archipelago. For over 60 years, the local population has been actively involved in sun and sea tourism for families; while Ibiza’s unique nightlife thrives just 14 kilometres away.
Santa Eulària is a peaceful spot welcoming sea lovers, providing them with a magical mix of culture, tradition and cosmopolitan ambience. For many years Ibizans have lived side-by-side with people from many nations who have made this place their home (businessmen, authors, painters, musicians...).
The town of Santa Eulària has a sea front several kilometres long offering stunning views of Puig de Misa, where you can visit its fortified 16th century church, Ibizan Ethnography Museum and Barrau Museum.
The Santa Eulària Nautical Station offers an appealing blend of on- and off-shore services. Visitors can listen to the silence of the night if they choose inland tourism, or listen to the waves from a coastal hotel.
In the daytime, you can enjoy the crystal-clear waters bathing our coastline: on it, kayaking, windsurfing, jet skiing, sailing, waterskiing… or under, it to witness the beauty of our very own seabed.
You can cycle, walk or ride on horseback through pinewoods and over red soil, and be astonished at the tiny peasant cottages still reeking of tradition you will find on your travels. Gather your strength by relaxing in a café or restaurant on the seashore, or dining at any of Santa Eulària’s top restaurants.
